What we do:
Current commitments and projects of The Friends of the J. Joel Edwards Public Library
- Fund the monthly Teen Program
- Fund the Teen Book Box Program
- Fund the monthly Cooking with Kids
- Fund the monthly Adult DIY
- Funded Read Across America
- Funded the Donuts with Dads in April 2024
- Purchase books for the library
- Provides supporting funds for the Summer Reading program
- Holds multiple fundraiser throughout the year, including the Big Band Dance in the Spring and the Molena Bigfoot Fest and Elkins Creek 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run the second Saturday in November.
- We help our Library continue to make a difference in peoples lives!
- We send emails, make phone calls, visit, and…. raise money so that we can help the library continue to impact our citizens!
